Robert Wedding Photography, Corporate Event Photography, and Studio Style Headshots. You name it, Robert does it all beautifully. From Robert Things I love... Well, I love to travel. I mean a lot. I am constantly circling the globe. Recent adventures have included Japan where the highlight was seeing Mount Fiji and eating insane amounts of raw fish. Other fun escapades have included Oktoberfest in Germany and a photo assignment in Italy. On a Friday nights you can usually catch a sighting of me at a few favorite wineries in the downtown Santa Barbara’s Funk Zone or on a Saturday morning you might see me whizzing past on my road bike for a "short" 20-30 mile ride. In the past I've enjoyed beer making, with the pumpkin brew being of special interest. An interesting fun fact about my life; I grew up in a Beverly Hills in a mansion. But it wasn't my mansion. My parents were housekeepers and it felt like I was guest in someone else's house. But, it was fun to have Magic Johnson as my next door neighbor and give tourists incorrect directions to find the non-existent "Torrance High" from the TV show 90210. I'm of course a complete photo nerd, so only ask me a technical question about photography if you are prepared for the LONG answer. Shooting weddings is sort of the best job ever. I get to capture people on such a happy day and create meaningful and lasting images. And who doesn't like great music, food and cake?

Katie Wedding Photographer, Family Portrait Photographer, and all around wonderful person. You can't help but feel cared for when Katie is photographing you. From Katie It's easy tell you what I love the most because it would be my four (yes FOUR) children. And husband of course. Couldn't have done it without him! Words that would describe me would probably be: spunky, redheaded, mom and photographer extraordinaire (Brooks Institute of Photography is my Alma Mater). My days are filled with reading kids books, going on adventures to places like the beach, library, parks and for one year DISNEYLAND. We had the passes and went constantly. It was the best. In the summer you can catch me at Carpinteria beach with the family and if you stay long enough you can share a slice of pizza with me that I get delivered straight to the beach. (Yes, it's possible!) In the winter you might find me enjoying some quiet time after the kids go to bed with my husband outside around our fire pit. Weddings are my favorite. I'm a veteran at shooting weddings and absolutely love being a part of such a magical day. I'm a stickler for details and love capturing so many aspects of this important time. I'm a sucker for cute grandparents… give me a cute old couple on the dance floor and I'm melting...

What's In Our Photo Bag?

Canon 1DX MKII

Why Not Use the Best?

Contax 645 Medium Format Film Camera with an 80mm F/2.0 Carl Zeiss Lens

We Love Film And The Unrivaled Color Depth And Dynamic Range It Brings To Our Photographs. This Medium Format Camera Sports One Of The Most Beautiful Lenses Ever Created For Any Camera In The History Of Photography. Seriously.

Kodak Portra 400

This Film Stock Makes Skin Glow And The Location You're Photographing Look Warm And Happy. Depending On What You're Shooting It Can Bring Out Or Pronounce... How Can I Describe This... A Hipness To The Scene.

Kodak Tri-X 400

Pretty Much The Peak Of B+W Film Technology. Its Contrast Is So Beautifully Spot On. It's Tonal Range And Grain Structure Are Deep And Beautiful.

Canon 5D MK IV

A Beautiful Image Capturing Machine With A TON Of Resolution... It's Also A Bit Less Massive In Your Hands Than The 1DX.

Canon 1Vs (Film Camera Body)

This Camera Is The Peak Of 35mm Camera Engineering. It Is An Absolute Tank... And Of Course Captures Beautiful Images.

Sekonic Flashmate Light Meter

You Have To Have A Light Meter If You're Going To Shoot Film!

Canon 600EX-RT Speedlight

An Artificial Light Source Is A Must When The Sun Goes Down. This Flash Head Is Amazing At Keeping Up With The Rapid Pace Of A Wedding Reception.

Pentax 645z Medium Format Digital Camera

Robert Loves This System And The High-Res Images It Produces. He Purchased This Baby Straight From The Source While Vacationing In Japan.

Tenba Roadie Roller Camera Bag

We Can't Bring All This Stuff If We Don't Have Anything To Put It In! This Makes Our Lenses Feel Safe And Warm While Traveling... It Barely Fits Inside The Overhead Compartment As A Carry On.

Canon EF 100mm f/2.8L Macro IS

You Want A Ring Shot? This Is The Absolute Best There Is At Getting Close. I Can Never Accuse Anna Of Under Utilizing It Either, She Loves This Lens!

Canon EF 24mm f/1.4L II

The Most Beautiful 35mm Camera Lens For Scene Setters And Family Portraits.

Canon EF 85mm f/1.2L II

Pretty Much My Go-To Piece of Glass Unless I Need to Get Further Away. It Actually Has A Bit Of "Compression" Which Makes People Look Thinner. The Bokeh Of f/1.2 Makes For Incredibly Beautiful Portraits.

Canon EF 50mm f/1.2L II

Great All-Around Lens. If You Only Had One Lens To Use For The Rest Of Your Life for Any Situation This Would Be A Good Bet.

Canon EF 70-200mm f/2.8L II

One Of The Greatest Telephoto Lenses Ever Designed, It Is Great For Being Non-Intrusive During Ceremonies And For Moments We Don't Want To Interrupt. It's The James Bond Of Lenses... I Don't Know What That Means, It Just Sounded Cool. -Michael
